Japan star Patrick Giles-Jones admitted he surprised himself with his stunning seven-wicket haul against Suriname.
The pace bowler helped Japan to their first win of the ICC WCL Division Seven on Wednesday by taking seven wickets for nine runs off 10 overs.
The Japanese reduced Suriname to 7-8 and then all out for 66 and scored their runs with 30 overs to spare.
"I still can't believe it - it hasn't sunk in yet. It was one of those when everything went right," he said.
Out of his 10 overs, Giles-Jones bowled five maidens and said: "I was probably 7-5 after about seven, but just couldn't get the last two.
"You put the ball up there and hope the batsman makes an error and that's what happened today, another day I could take none.
Asked if he thinks he will have the best figures of the tournament he said: "Well, I've set the benchmark - it'll be interesting if anyone can get up there and beat it."
