Cornish Pirates performance coach Chris Stirling has said he hopes his side's postponed Championship match on Saturday will not affect their form. Pirates were due to take on Birmingham and Solihull but the game was cancelled due to a frozen pitch. Stirling said: "In the short term, somewhere down the track, we're going to have to double up and pay for it. "The vein of form we're in at the moment I was pretty confident, so we'd like to continue that trend," he added. Games between Macclesfield and Redruth, and Barking versus Launceston in National League One were also postponed due to the weather. New dates are yet to be arranged for the fixtures.
