Vagabonds regained the BSM Manx Cup with a 19-8 victory over old rivals Douglas at Mooragh Park on Saturday. Jonny Beckley converted a Rob Martin try to give Vagabonds a 7-0 lead before a Bryn Snellgrove penalty made it 7-3 on the stroke of half-time. Martin added his second try early in the second period only for Douglas to again close the gap through a Geoff Myles try. Leigh Kennaugh sealed the Vagas victory with a try late on. Meanwhile, Ramsey secured promotion to South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two with an emphatic 43-3 away win at Ellesmere Port. The result sees the northerners finish their campaign just one point behind champions Holmes Chapel.
