Guernsey currently lie second in London 2 South West

Guernsey Rugby Club's 1st XV gained another important win in their push to gain promotion to London 1 South.

In their penultimate game of the season they beat London South Africa 19-7 in the London 2 South West Division.

Guernsey need to maintain their place in second to enter the playoffs against sides from London 2 South East.

Club captain Dave McGall said: "It was another commanding performance, that leaves us in and excellent position for the end of season playoffs."

He added: "that it was providing obviously we win our last home game."

The island side face Trojans on 10 April.
