Promotion in Guernsey Rugby Club's own hands

Rugby: Guernsey prepare for a scrum
Guernsey are ahead of Tottonians and Guildford on points difference

Guernsey's promotion hopes are now in their own hands, following their 34-18 win away to second-placed Tottonians in London Two South West.

They leapt two places into second spot, on the same points as their latest opponents and Guildford, but have a superior points difference.

If they win their remaining three games they could finish second and earn a place in the play-offs for promotion.

League leaders London Irish Amateur are four points clear on 30.

Guernsey's remaining matches are home to Twickenham on 20 March, followed by an away match against London South Africa and at home to Trojans.
