Guernsey Rugby Club dropped to fourth following the 19-18 defeat

Guernsey Rugby Club have dropped to fourth in London Two South West after an agonisingly close defeat away to London Cornish on Saturday.

The Sarnians lost by a single point in a performance affected by injuries and the sin-binning of two players.

The 19-18 loss means they have lost ground in their campaign for promotion.

But a defeat for second-placed Tottonians on the same day means Guernsey remain only two points away from a play-off place.

Guernsey are away to Tottonians in another crucial match on 13 March.
