Cornish Pirates ran in six tries as they picked up a bonus point win over Championship rivals Nottingham. Dave Ward and Blair Cowan both touched down twice for the home side, with Wes Davies and Paul Devlin also appearing on the scoresheet. Full-back Rob Cook contributed the rest of the Pirates' points with three penalties and four conversions Nottingham's try scorers were Tim Streather, Dan White and Tom Youngs, with two conversions from Greig Tonks. As a result of the win the Pirates have moved up to fifth in the Championship table on 55 points, with Nottingham now sixth on 54 points.
