The Pirates were 31-3 up at the break

Cornish Pirates ran home an impressive nine tries to beat Birmingham Solihull 62-10 and inflict an eighth consecutive defeat on the Championship strugglers.

The Pirates' fifth win of the season ended their own three-match losing streak in the Championship.

Despite the scores being level at 3-3 after 20 minutes, Pirates scored four tries before the break to lead 31-3.

Bees scored their only try in the second half but the Pirates secured their win with another 31 points.
