Shaw has England honours up to U20 level

Cornish Pirates have signed forward Alex Shaw on a initial two week loan deal from Sale Sharks.

The 22-year-old is known for his versatility and can play at both lock and along the back row.

Shaw has been a regular for the Sale Jets since moving to Manchester from the Leicester Academy.

The forward, who has also played for England Under-20s, will go straight into the Pirates squad for the visit of Bristol on Sunday.
