Cornish Pirates maintained their 100% start to the new Championship season with victory over Coventry at the Recreation Ground. Two tries from Jonny Bentley and one from Wes Davies helped the home side open up a commanding lead. However, Coventry refused to lie down with Justin Miller's try and a penalty from Ben Russell setting up a grandstand finish. But the Pirates held on to move up to second in the table.
