Cornish Pirates secured their third win of the fledgling Championship season against Doncaster on Friday night to move top of the league table. After three first-half penalties from Rhys Jones, Pirates stand-in skipper Blair Cowan touched down twice in the second half, adding one conversion. Doncaster's points came through an Adam Kettle try, converted by fly-half James Brooks, who also kicked a penalty. The Pirates now have 13 league points, while Doncaster are still yet to win.
