Plymouth Albion claimed the bragging rights over their Cornish neighbours with a 16-8 defeat of the Pirates.
Albion led 11-3 at the break thanks to a try from George Porter and a penalty and drop-goal from Kieran Hallett.
In the second period, Ben Mercer made it 16-3 to Albion before the Pirates briefly threatened a comeback through with Rhodri McAtee try.
The win puts Albion ninth in the Championship, whilst the Pirates slip to fourth.
Cornish Pirates high performance manager Chris Stirling told BBC Spotlight:
"We knew exactly what Plymouth were going to bring to the game and we weren't good enough to stop them on the day.
"We played a little bit of rugby but they stopped us and we counter attack.
"I think we were put under huge pressure at certain times and I thought that the set-piece went really well which is definitely an area that is improving for us week in week out."
