London Welsh condemned Cornish Pirates to their third consecutive defeat at Old Deer Park.
The Exiles outscored their visitors by six tries to one, Rob Lewis (2), Dominic Shabbo and Simon Whatling all going over in the first half.
With the four-try bonus point already secured, further scores from Dorian Williams and Errie Claassens helped ram home Welsh's advantage.
Pirates winger Wes Davies went over for a late consolation try.
The Pirates will now be hoping to regroup against Championship strugglers Birmingham & Solihull in Camborne next Sunday.
Cornish Pirates high performance manager Chris Stirling told BBC Radio Cornwall:
"London Welsh played a pretty wide, fast and expansive game.
"Our work-rate was good in the first 20 minutes.
"Maybe we made a couple of poor options in giving the ball away cheaply, but I think it was a sorting out period in the first 20.
"What they caused us to do was commit too many bodies to the breakdown to recycle the ball and that caused the problem down the track where our decision making behind wasn't accurate."
