Delaney's side took a bonus point in their 36-30 win at London Welsh |
Nottingham director of rugby Glenn Delaney believes his side can put financial worries aside and achieve a top-three finish in National One. The Green and Whites kept up their strong on-field showing on Saturday, with a 36-30 win at London Welsh to go 11 points clear of fourth-placed Welsh. Delaney told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We want to be in the top three. "We just want to maintain our growth and put a couple of games space between us and fourth place." Andy Savage, David Jackson, Dan Montague, Luke Sherriff and Tim Taylor all scored tries in Saturday's victory at Old Deer Park. Delaney said: "[Welsh] were physical but when we had the ball in our hands we looked comfortable. We were very pleased to come away with the points."
