Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood has told BBC Radio Nottingham he may go back to the loan market ahead of the deadline this week.
On-loan midfielder Carl Fletcher has returned to Crystal Palace because of a back injury.
Midfielder Guy Moussi and defender Julian Bennett are still out and striker Robert Earnshaw has missed the last three games with a calf injury.
Forest have until Thursday to boost their squad through the loan market.
