York City Knights win ends Blackpool's unbeaten record
York City Knights ended Blackpool's unbeaten record in Championship One as a stoppage-time Tom Lineham try secured a 24-22 win at the Huntington Stadium.
Leading 14-6 at the break, the Knights went 22-20 down with one minute of normal time to go, before hitting back.
Knights coach James Ratcliffe, who was fending off questions about his future last week, told BBC Radio York: "The true York City Knights stood up today.
"Defence is attitude, and we've showed a great desire to win the game".
He added: "The first 24 hours after Sunday [when they lost to Rochdale) probably lasted about 68 hours.

"The five days after that, the players have been fantastic in training again, and this week we've actually put it into practice on the field.
"We've shown the right attitude in defence today, we've wanted the ball and we've attacked them when they've got the ball.
"It's just been waiting to happen. I said to them before the game, whatever happens today, let's get a performance.
"What we can't do is dwell on what we've done wrong and right before now.
"What we can do is see what's in front of us and we can have a big part to play in that."
The Knights have a break from league action next week when they play Keighley in the Northern Rail Cup quarter-final.
Their next two league games are against the bottom two, London Skolars and Gateshead, and Ratcliffe will be hoping the Knights can reignite their promotion credentials.
"Let's scratch the first half of the season and let's push on from here," he said.
