York coach James Ratcliffe angry with Knights loss
York City Knights coach James Ratcliffe has told his players they need to ask themselves some questions after the performance in the defeat by Hunslet.
The Knights lost 46-10 to a Hunslet side that have only been beaten once this season.
Ratcliffe told BBC Radio York: "I'm disappointed for myself, the team and the fans.
"It wasn't so much Hunslet winning the game as us losing the game. We'd not completed what we wanted to do."
He continued: "Our kick finishes were absolutely woeful throughout our complete game.
"We spoke again at half-time about the quality of a team like Hunslet and people within it. They're going to come and hurt you if you allow them to play in your end of the park."
The Knights beat Championship One leaders Oldham in a shock win last week but Ratcliffe said more of the same old problems re-appeared against Hunslet.
"Last week was last week. Some of the players, I've not even spoken to them after the game because the same speech is getting a bit thin now.
"The truth of the matter is some of those players really need to have a look at themselves and some of the efforts they've come up with today have not been good enough.
"We either bring new players in, they have to improve or we bring other players in from the 21's but we've got to find some answers."
