Paul March will again partner Adam Mitchell at half-back |
York City Knights will be without Rob Kelly and Danny Ratcliffe for Sunday's game at Workington. Ratcliffe has a broken bone in his wrist while Kelly needs an operation on broken bones in his hand. Player-coach Paul March told BBC Radio York they are down to the bare bones of the squad again but he has confidence in his squad. "Players will come in, do a good job for us and hopefully we can pick three points up," he said. Ratcliffe picked up a suspected broken arm in the game at London Skolars three weeks ago but he was given the all-clear to play last weekend against Blackpool. March said: "Nothing showed up on the X-ray but he had some follow-up appointments. "He went on Tuesday and they've found a small bone broken in his arm but credit to him. He played against Blackpool with it, scored two nice tries and I think he was one of the players who could have picked up the man-of-the-match award as well." Ratcliffe could be out for around three weeks while Kelly could be ruled out for the rest of the season. He will have an operation on Saturday. Meanwhile Rob Spicer is also rated 50/50 for Sunday's game. "Rob's turned his ankle and done some ligament damage. "If he is fit obviously he'll come back in and Dave Clayton will move to full-back. "If he's not fit we've got other options with Mark Wilson who can come in and he's also a goal kicker as well," said March.
