Whistlers 'C' go top of Guernsey's Division One

Table Tennis

Whistlers 'C' are top of Guernsey's Division One after beating Lions 'A' in the latest round of fixtures.

Whistlers 'C' were helped to victory by Garry Dodd, the current Channel Island Champion, who has just returned from the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

Dodd was dominant throughout, winning his three games as Whistlers 'C' edged to a 6-4 victory over Lions 'A'.

Whistlers 'B' are now second in the league, after narrowly beating Whistlers 'A' 6-4.

Like Dodd, Alice Loveridge was fresh off the back of the Commonwealth Games and won all three of her singles matches for Whistlers 'B' without losing a game.
