Loveridge came 17th overall in the Youth Olympics singles |
Guernsey's table tennis teams have been strengthened by the return of Alice Loveridge ahead of the start of the National League season. Loveridge, 16, represented Great Britain at the Youth Olympics in Singapore last month, where she was Britain's only table tennis player. Loveridge will play at number two for the Guernsey One team, alongside Gary Dodd, Olly Langlois and Phil Ogier. Her return sees Adam Langlois drop to Guernsey's second team. Langlois will play alongside Matt Stubbington, Paul Hainsworth and Liam Robilliard in Guernsey Two. Guernsey One begin their Division One South & Midlands season with four matches in Slough this weekend, while Guernsey Two are playing in Horsham in Division Three.
