The president of the Guernsey Table Tennis Association says the island team's selection for the Commonwealth Games in Delhi marks genuine progress.

Derek Webb said: "We're delighted the players have been selected to go. We were disappointed when we didn't make it to Melbourne.

"But we've worked hard and the players reached their criteria."

The six table tennis players are part of the biggest ever Guernsey team heading to the Commonwealth Games.
