 Simpson will play for Guernsey at the Commonwealth Games |
Guernsey squash player Chris Simpson has qualified for the Rowe British Grand Prix on 15 September. Simpson's passage came after victory over India's Siddarth Suchde in straight sets in Wolverhampton, winning 11-8, 11-8, 11-4 in just under an hour. Simpson will now face fellow British player and number one seed Nick Mathews in the first round of the Grand Prix. He is also set to represent Guernsey at the Commonwealth Games which take place in Delhi in October.
