Guernsey squash player Chris Simpson has missed out on a place in the main draw of the $50,000 PSA Five Star Kuala Lumpur Open. He was beaten by Egypt's Omar Abdel Aziz, who twice came from behind to win, 12-14, 11-1, 7-11, 11-5, 12-10 in 83 minutes in the qualifying finals. Aziz is ranked number 36 in the world, 12 places higher than Simpson. Simpson was 11-8, 3-6 up in the first qualifying round when his opponent Elvinn Keo, from Malaysia, retired.
