Guernsey's snooker team has struggled so far in Prestatyn

Guernsey's snooker team has yet to win a match at the Home Internationals Tournament in Prestatyn.

The island side have suffered a series of heavy defeats so far in their games.

Guernsey lost 17-1 to England and 14-4 to Wales on Saturday before going down 12-6 to Northern Ireland and 14-4 to Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.

Martyn Desperques is the only islander to win a game when he beat Wales and Northern Ireland 3-0. He hit two breaks of over 50 in one frame and one of 89.

Monday sees the Guernsey team take on the Isle of Man and France in their final matches, representing their best chances of picking up a win in the event.
