Cyclists meet standards for Delhi

Ann Bowditch finished fifth in the women's event

Guernsey cyclists Ann Bowditch and James McClaughlin have met the qualification standards to compete at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

The pair secured their final points at a national time trial series event in Kidderminster at the weekend.

Bowditch tackled a strong headwind to finish fifth while in the senior men's event McLaughlin finished tenth.

Dan Arblaster, also in the senior men's, finished second overall, taking him to 20 of the 30 points he needs.
