McLaughlin has shown some impressive form of late

Guernsey cyclist James McLaughlin has finished as the leading junior in his second and third races in France.

His second race on French soil was a 110km road event in Nantes, where he stayed within the chasing group up until the end.

McLaughlin's third race was a town criterium, where he broke away and led with just 200m to go.

The French riders just managed to catch him at the line and he finished in a respectable ninth place overall.
