Plymouth Raiders have signed Israeli point guard Haggai Hundert to replace retiring skipper Gavin Love. The 24-year-old, who was born in Ramat-Gan in Israel, is eligible to sign as he holds a British passport. The 6ft 2ins guard has played at high school and college level in America and was in the Chemosvit side that came third in Slovakia last season. He was registered on Wednesday and should play this weekend if he gets international clearance. "I'm excited to be here, and I look forward to helping the team in any way I can. Hopefully we can make this a successful season," Hundert said. "I'm delighted to have him on board, he played at a high level last year in Slovakia, and he'll help us out in the back court," added head coach Gary Stronach.
