Exeter spirit impresses Tisdale

Tisdale's Exeter are now unbeaten in four games

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale hailed the spirit of his side after they came from behind to beat Aldershot 3-2 at St James Park on Saturday.

The Grecians were 2-1 down with 15 minutes to play but took the points through a Ben Harding own goal and a strike from Neil Saunders.

"It was a wonderful game of football and a brilliant game to win," Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon.

"It feels like we're going on a bit of a roll that we've been hoping for."

The win takes Exeter up to sixth in League Two, just three points behind the automatic promotion places.

"We started off well in the second half - but to then concede two goals in the space of five minutes and be down on the hour was really tough," said Tisdale.

"But what makes the victory more pleasing was our reaction after going 2-1 down."
