Everton Tigers have completed the signing of American forward Josh Gross from Austin Toros.

The 25-year-old is highly regarded by Tigers head coach Tony Garbelotto, who believes he can become one of the BBL's top players this season.

The Washington D.C born Gross has also played for Florida, Albuquerque, Iowa and Los Angeles in the USA, and for Kauhajoen in Finland.

Everton tip-off the new season away to Sheffield Sharks on Friday 3 October.

The Tigers are aiming for a top-four finish in only their second season in the league.

They made the play-offs in their first campaign, but were defeated by Guildford Heat in the semi-finals.
