Widnes re-sign Kiwi centre Love

Love returns to the Stobart Stadium for a second spell with Vikings

Widnes Vikings have awarded new contracts to seven members of their 2008 squad and have re-signed former player Toa Kohe Love for 2009.

The 31-year-old has Super League experience with Hull FC, Bradford Bulls and Warrington Wolves.

The Kiwi centre was part of Viking's 2007 Northern Rail Cup winning side.

The other players Steve McCormack has signed up are Antony Mullally, Josh Simm, Shane Grady, Matt Strong, Scott Yates, Paddy Flynn and Michael Ostick.

Mullally, Simm and Grady have signed three-year contracts.

Strong, Yates and Flynn have put pen to paper on two-year deals.

Ostick has signed on to stay at the Stobart Stadium until the end of next season.
