Everton Tigers are just three victories away from winning the BBL play-offs in their debut season. Head coach Henry Mooney told BBC Radio Merseyside: "We are taking things one game at a time but, if we play to our potential, we can beat anybody. "It's play-off basketball and our guys are motivated and have the mentality not to lose." The Tigers, who finished in seventh place in the BBL, now play away at Guildford Heat on Sunday. They go into the tie following back-to-back victories over Scottish Rocks and Birmingham Panthers. Mooney added that he was delighted with how his team's debut season has gone in the BBL. "Our goal was to get to the play-offs," he said. "And we have done that. "We've outperformed the other two teams who came into the BBL at the same time as us by quite some way."
