 Cann has won the English National women's singles title four times |
Jersey's Elizabeth Cann was beaten in the final of the Belgium Badminton Open by Germany's Juliane Schenk. Cann went down to a straight sets 21-7, 21-5 defeat to the number one seed in the final. On her way to the final, Cann overcame Belgium's Lianne Tan, Holland's Josephine Wenholt and Estonia's Karoline Hoim. She then went on to beat Scottish player Linda Sloan 21-17, 21-10 in the semi-finals.
