Steve O'Brien is pushed over for Jersey's first try at St Peter |
Jersey continued their winning start to the National Two season with a hard-fought win over Worthing at St Peter. Jersey started brightly, with two well taken tries in the first 17 minutes from Steve O'Brien. Worthing hit back through a Stuart Pearman penalty, before Michael Le Bourgoise scored Jersey's third try. Worthing's James Arthur scored his side's only try in the second half, as Jersey kicked two penalties to stay out in front. Dan Hawkes and Andrew Henderson got Jersey's second-half penalties as they followed up last weekend's 18-17 victory over Shelford with a second straight win.
