Jersey's Elizabeth Cann and Mariana Agathangelou have both tasted success at the Wimbledon National Elite Open. Cann, 30, won the ladies singles while Agathangelou and her partner Robin Middleton, took the mixed doubles. In the ladies final, Cann was 16-7 ahead in the first set when her opponent Atu Rosalina Sagita, was forced to retire. Agethangelou and Middleton beat Tom Armstrong and Catherine Grant 21-18 in the deciding set to take their title. But the Jersey youngster could not emulate her success in the ladies doubles with her partner Hayley Connor. The duo went out in the semi-finals to the eventual winners Imogen Bankier and Emma Mason.
