Dokoupil will contest the TT with his own Indi Racing team

Czech Republic road racer Michal Dokoupil is the latest newcomer to confirm his intention to compete at the 2009 Isle of Man TT.

The 29-year-old has been one of his country's leading riders over the past few years and won the Czech Open Championship in 2005.

"Competing at the Isle of Man TT will be a dream come true for me," he said.

Dokoupil is hoping to emulate the success of his hero, Frantisek 'Franta' Stastny at the 2009 event.

Works Jawa rider Stastny finished third in both the 1962 and 1963 Junior TT races and recorded four more top-six finishes.

Michal will contest the TT with his own Indi Racing team, riding in the two Relentless Supersport Races.
