Vagabonds ladies travel to Northwich on Saturday looking to continue the fine form that has seen them nominated for the Isle of Man team of the year award.

The Manx team top North West Division Two with an impressive unbeaten record including six wins and a draw.

Vagas Captain Fran Hunt is also up for the sportswoman of the year accolade with Darrin Cook receiving the nomination for coach of the year.

Cook said: "If we play to form I'm confidant we can get a good result."

Northwich will field at least three county players on Saturday and their well drilled squad will present a severe test for the Manx side, especially with injuries and unavailability forcing Darrin Cook to make changes to the Vagas line-up.

Vagabonds are well aware of what is necessary to secure victory on Saturday and if they can follow their game plan for the full eighty minutes they should return to the Island with a further four points in the bag.
