Ferrari's red march to glory continued unabated in 2004.

Their new machine may not have looked very different from that of 2003, but it has moved the goalposts yet again and left the team's rivals standing.

It has produced stunning pace, as well as its customary cast-iron reliability, while Ferrari still have the best driver in Michael Schumacher.

And worries that their Bridgestone tyres might not be up to the job have been proved groundless.

Problems with Bridgestone - which they hope are now in the past - masked the fact that Ferrari had the best all-round car in 2003.

This year, there appear to be no weaknesses at all in Ferrari's package and they are set for the drivers' and constructors' double for a remarkable fifth year in a row.

With the new engine rule coming into effect, the Ferrari's famed reliability has again put them in an enviable position.

And the tiniest suggestions last year that Schumacher may be losing his edge after a series of comparatively off-form race have been brushed aside by him driving as well as ever.
