Priaulx has won the FIA World Championship three times

Guernsey's Andy Priaulx has moved up to second in the FIA World Touring Car Championship after notching up his sixth win of the season in Germany

Priaulx finished sixth in race one at the Motorsport Arena in Oschersleben, putting him third on the grid for the second race.

The Sarnian proceeded to make a blistering start in race two, taking an early lead which he held to the finish.

The result put Priaulx 13 points adrift of Championship leader Yvan Muller.

The season continues with the penultimate race set to be held in Valencia, Spain on 17 September.
