Jersey's golfers have retained the Garenne Seniors Challenge Trophy, narrowly beating Guernsey 8-7. Saturday's fourballs at Guernsey's Le Grande Mare Golf Club ended with both sides on 2.5 points, with three of the five games being halved. In the 10 singles matches on Sunday, Jersey edged ahead, but had to wait until the end to secure the trophy. Wins for Jersey's Mike Le Fever and Colin Attwood in the last three matches gave them victory by 5.5 points to 4.5.
