Despite missing their first kick, St Peter came through the shoot-out
St Peter came back from 2-0 down to earn a 2-2 draw before beating Guernsey Northerners 5-4 on penalties to reach the quarter-finals of the Wheway Cup.
Simon Tostevin scored both goals for North but a brace from Ryan Le Cornu put the sides level in normal time.
It stayed 2-2 throughout the extra 30 minutes but St Peter won the shoot-out to earn a last eight tie at Trinity.
It was the first time this season that a Jersey side has beaten a Guernsey team in inter-insular competition.
