Priaulx's 16th first-place finish put him top of the all-time winners list
Andy Priaulx secured his fourth win of the FIA World Touring Car Championship season at Brands Hatch on Sunday. It was his 16th win since the championship started and puts the three-time world champion top of the all-time winners' list. Priaulx came from 16th to eighth to claim pole for race two and then led from the front to cross the line first. It left the Guernseyman third overall in the drivers' championship, 55 points behind overall leader Yvan Muller. Priaulx said: "It was a tough weekend. Going back 10 places on the grid was not ideal and we had it stacked against us. I am really chuffed to have this result now and to win my fourth race this year. "Overall it was a brilliant result, as I am still third in the championship and we are going into several races now that are going to be more favourable for us. "I think it is going to be tough to beat these guys this year. We are challengers, but we are ambitious challengers and hopefully we can take the fight to Macau."
