 Priaulx celebrates after winning race two in Brno |
Guernsey's Andy Priaulx secured BMW's 50th race win of the FIA World Touring Car Championship in Brno on Sunday. The victory, which came in race two at the Czech Republic track, was Priaulx's fifth of the season and sees him move to fifth in the Championship table. In race one, Priaulx moved up from 11th on the grid to finish in fifth. He said: "I am very proud to have notched up such a landmark win for BMW, particularly as it really keeps our championship hopes alive." The next round of the Championships will be held at Oschersleben in Germany on 5 September.
