Walker is driving for Liverpool FC in the Superleague |
James Walker maintained his place in the top 10 of the Superleague Formula Series despite a troublesome weekend on the track in Germany. Walker was forced to battle technical problems on both days at the Nurburgring, yet the Jersey driver only dropped to ninth in the standings. Race one saw Walker finish in sixth as he overcame problems with the brakes. In race two, his Liverpool FC car continued to play up and the team were forced to retire before the start. Walker said: "It's frustrating as we could have got a good result and made it into the Super Final again. "The car was really quick this weekend so it's a shame we had technical problems." The Liverpool FC team will now have three weeks to regroup before the next round of races at the Zolder racetrack in Belgium.
