Walker continues his flying form

Walker is hoping his good form in testing will lead him to better results

Jersey's James Walker has kept up his good form during the final testing session for P1 Motorsport ahead of this season's World Series in Barcelona.

Walker topped the timing sheets in the morning sessions on both Monday and Tuesday, and was fourth fastest during a wet session on Tuesday afternoon.

The testing session was the last for Walker before the season begins later this month at the Catalan circuit.

Walker was fastest for two sessions in Valencia last month.

The season begins at the Ciruit de Catalunya in just under two weeks where Walker will make his debut for the P1 team after joining them during the winter.

"I really couldn't have hoped for better preparation for the new season," Walker said after the session.

"We're in good shape, having completed all of our homework, and we can go to the first race with a victory as our target.

"If we keep doing what we're doing then hopefully we will have a lot to smile about when we come back to Barcelona in a couple of weeks."
