Priaulx is now 25 points behind the championship leader Yvan Muller |
Guernsey's reigning World Touring Car champion Andy Priaulx saw his hopes of a fourth straight title slip further away in Italy on Sunday. The BMW driver picked up just two championship points at Imola and is now 25 points behind leader Yvan Muller. He finished in eleventh place in race one, leaving him out of the points, but picked up two points for his seventh place in the second race. Muller is 12 points ahead in the title standings after winning race one. There are just three rounds left in the championship, with the next two races at Monza in Italy on 5 October.
