| Inzamam given two game ban Inzamam falls LBW to Shane Warne at Lord's Inzamam-ul-Haq has received a two-match ban for showing dissent during the NatWest Series final against Australia. The Pakistan batsman was fined half of his match fee and banned for two one-day internationals. He lingered at the crease when he was given out LBW to Shane Warne by umpire Peter Willey. He further registered his dissatisfaction by taking a funeral walk back to the pavilion. Match referee Brian Hastings of New Zealand imposed the penalty and issued the suspension following similar offences in April 1998 and May last year. Australia won the match by nine wickets. |
