Torquay have signed MK Dons midfielder Mustapha Carayol on a two-year deal.
The 19-year-old spent part of last season on loan at Crawley Town and scored twice against the Gulls.
He began his career at Swindon Town before joining Paul Ince at Macclesfield Town in 2006, and then following him to Milton Keynes in 2007.
"He is the right age for us and gives us pace and ability down the left side," Torquay manager Paul Buckle told the club website.
"I played against the club last season and I liked the way they played," Carayol said.
Torquay say they beat off interest from a number of other sides to secure the teenager's services.
