Torquay United have signed former Plymouth Argyle player Lee Hodges.
The 34-year-old, who can play in a variety of positions but is most comfortable at left-back or midfield, was released by Argyle last month.
"This is fantastic news for the club and the supporters," manager Paul Buckle said on the club's website.
"Lee made 30 appearances for Plymouth in the Championship last season which shows what another massive signing this is for Torquay United."
Hodges previously played for Tottenham, Reading, Wycombe Wanderers and Barnet as well as two spells at Argyle.
He joined the Pilgrims on a free transfer in 2001 and was part of the Plymouth side that won the old third and second divisions in 2002 and 2004.
