Crawley Town have signed 25-year-old goalkeeper Simon Rayner from Blue Square Premier rivals Torquay United.
The Canadian-born stopper, who was on loan at Boston United for part of last season, made 42 appearances for Torquay during his time at Plainmoor.
Rayner's departure leaves United with just one goalkeeper on their books, 22-year-old Martin Rice.
The Gulls are set to sign a replacement later this week.
Rayner had been put on the transfer list by the club earlier this month.
Speculation has surrounded a possible return for Southampton keeper Michael Poke, who played four games on loan for the Gulls in January and February, and Peterborough's Shwan Jalal.
