Taylor scored on his football league debut in the 3-1 away win at Luton
Rob Taylor is out to become a first team regular next season under whoever takes charge of managerless Port Vale.
After being signed by Lee Sinnott from non-league Nuneaton in July 2008, the winger only made 10 league starts.
"I was promised regular football," the 24-year-old told BBC Radio Stoke. "But it didn't happen. Hopefully the new manager will see what I can do.
"Three managers in 12 months is mad, but hopefully I can learn from an experienced manager."
Taylor started Vale's first two games of the season, scoring on his debut at Luton. But he had already been relegated to the bench before Sinnott's sacking in late September.
And he did not feature under Sinnott's replacement Dean Glover until mid-January.
